All our team members are fully vaccinated and received special training on exposure and prevention of COVID-19. All team members are provided with special PPE. We continue to adhere to the highest standards of infection control for dental offices. Each patient operatory is thoroughly sanitized in between patients. Waiting room area and bathroom are sanitized as well. Patient magazines and beverage area have been removed. All patients receive a temperature check upon arrival at the office and are offered hand-sanitizer. Before starting any dental treatment, all patients (over the age of 12) will be asked to rinse with a mouthwash containing 1% hydrogen peroxide to decrease the viral load in the mouth.
LIMITED OFFICE ACCESS
In every effort to maintain social distancing recommendations, we kindly ask that only the scheduled patient enter the office at the time of their scheduled appointment (not earlier). If an essential companion is absolutely necessary, we ask that only one person accompany the patient and let us know in advance so we can schedule accordingly. Minors can bring one parent or guardian. Family members coming together will be asked to wait in the car until their room is ready, or wait in the patient room while one family member receives his or her treatment.
Also, our door remains locked so only patients with scheduled appointments are allowed in. Everyone who enters must wear a facemask.
If for any reason we are running behind our schedule, we will notify the patient via phone call or text.
To further reduce time in our waiting room, we ask that all patients complete their patient paperwork online ahead of their appointments, as well to email the front and back of their photo ID and dental insurance card to our secure email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
All patients will receive a screening questionnaire and asked to complete before their appointments. We ask all our patients to postpone their appointments if any of the following are applicable: Within the last 10 days, experienced any symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath, dry cough, recent loss of taste or smell or any other flu-like symptoms, had contact with any confirmed COVID-19 positive person, had tested positive for COVID-19 or traveled internationally. We will also ask all patients to state if they have received any COVID-19 testing or vaccinations.
