Ceramic Crowns & Bridges

What are Ceramic Crowns & Bridges?

Ceramic crowns and bridges are designed to replace compromised or missing teeth. The restoration contains absolutely no metal, making it a safer and more aesthetically-pleasing alternative to other options. We offer high-quality ceramic restorations that can enhance and perfect your smile. The restorations are custom made to fit your smile beautifully so that you have a crown or bridge that lasts for years.

Why would you need Ceramic Crowns & Bridges?

You may need a crown or bridge if you’re either missing a tooth entirely (bridge) or have a tooth that has been compromised in some way (crown). For implant patients, a crown can be placed on top of the implant to replace a missing tooth. For a fixed ceramic bridge, you’ll benefit from a restoration that blends in flawlessly with the rest of your teeth. Our goal is to provide you with restorations that you can trust to look good and feel comfortable.

The restoration is smoothed to create a comfortable fit and you're able to enjoy a crown or bridge that can last for up to 15 to 20 years.

What makes you a good candidate for Ceramic Crowns & Bridges?

You will need to come into our office to have an exam by Dr. Dary prior to the procedure itself. We can help to determine if a crown or bridge is right for you. In some cases, you may need to have an older crown or bridge replaced. This can be done easily in our office so that you have a metal-free restorative option.

What can you expect with the Ceramic Crown & Bridge procedure?

For a crown, the compromised tooth will be filed down to make room for the restoration. For the bridge, the two surrounding teeth are smoothed down to allow for the restoration to sit easily and comfortably on top. Impressions are made so that you can have both a temporary and permanent restoration made for you. The crowns and bridges are entirely free of metal, making them safer and more realistic than alternatives. The permanent is then placed onto the area once they have been made. The restoration is smoothed to create a comfortable fit and you’re able to enjoy a crown or bridge that can last for up to 15 to 20 years.
